Movieweb reports that Netflix has renewed the French action crime thriller Blood Coast for a third season, a renewal revealed by the official Netflix France X/Twitter account with the line, "They aren't done with Marseille yet."

Created and directed by Kamel Guemra and Olivier Marchal, the series follows daredevil police captain Lyès Benamar and his team as they take the law into their own hands; the second season debuted on December 9, 2025. The cast includes Tewfik Jallab, Jeanne Goursaud and Nicolas Duvauchelle among others, and the show has so far flown under the radar without enough reviews for a Rotten Tomatoes score. Audience measures cited include a 76% on the Popcornmeter and a 7.0 on IMDb, while The Arts Desk gave it 4/5, praising its balance of "a knotty narrative and intense action scenes."

Netflix has confirmed Season 3 is already in the works, and creator Olivier Marchal has previously teased it "will be even better!" and suggested a globe‑hopping element as they "plan to shoot abroad."
