New 2-Minute Sneak Peek Reveals Shudder’s Found-Footage Nightmare
Found-footage movies have delivered some of the most unsettling experiences in horror, from The Blair Witch Project to Late Night with the Devil and Cloverfield. Shudder will add Bodycam to that lineage on March 13, and a new two-minute sneak peek offers an exclusive look at filmmaker Brandon Christensen’s latest take on the subgenre.
Bodycam follows two police officers called to a domestic disturbance. They encounter a man who seems to be hiding something under his shirt; one officer fires several shots and kills him. When the incident is revealed to have been captured on their body cameras, the officers scramble to avoid public scrutiny — and the dead body in the basement proves only the beginning, as something more sinister watches from the shadows.
Jaime M. Callica and Sean Rogerson star, supported by Catherine Lough Haggquist, Angel Prater, Keegan Connor Tracy, Elizabeth Longshaw, Colette Nwachi, Joe Perry and Kevin Doree.
