It’s a very bloody weekend on streaming. Nia DaCosta’s 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple offers the second entry in the planned post-apocalyptic trilogy, with a twisted cult leader who believes he’s the son of Satan proving more dangerous than the infected. Spike is forced to join a sadistic cult led by Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal, who kills and tortures other survivors; when his leadership is questioned, he collides with the enigmatic Dr.

Ian Kelson in one of the wildest scenes in modern cinema. Jack O’Connell is singled out for playing his part to perfection, earnestly selling the conceit that his character believes Satan sent the rage virus and Jimmy himself. Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair arrives as a four-and-a-half-hour supercut of the Bride’s revenge, and for lighter fare The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants sails onto Paramount Plus as a haunted pirate adventure.
