With viewership at levels not seen since 1989 and revenue on track to reach $25 billion, the N.F.L. is expected to seek revisions to its broadcast and streaming contracts despite being in the early years of a $120 billion package that runs into the early 2030s.

League officials say current deals are undervalued compared with recent N.B.A. and UFC agreements; Hans Schroeder and Commissioner Roger Goodell have said the value of N.F.L. rights has increased and that they "always think we’re undervalued." Media partners, from legacy networks like CBS and NBC to streamers such as Netflix and YouTube, are described as likely to enter renegotiations because the league is central to their businesses.

One analyst, Rich Greenfield, estimates the league could earn about 50 percent more annually from a new package.
