Nicole Kidman breaks silence on Keith Urban divorce and family focus

Nicole Kidman addressed her and Keith Urban’s “rough” divorce for the first time since their September 2025 split, saying, “I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good. What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that.” She added, “Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect.

I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be.” Kidman praised her “darling” and “beautiful girls” — Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15 — calling them “suddenly women.” The separation, which came after nearly two decades of marriage, led her to file for divorce one day after the breakup made headlines; the split was finalized in January with both exes waiving child and spousal support.

Kidman was granted 306 days with the daughters, while Urban received every other weekend.
