Prime Video confirmed that Scarpetta premieres on March 11, 2026. The series is based on Patricia Cornwell’s long-running forensic crime novels and was given a two-season order before it debuted. Created by Liz Sarnoff, the show stars Nicole Kidman as medical examiner Kay Scarpetta, with Jamie Lee Curtis co-starring as her sister Dorothy Farinelli.
