Stephen Kick, cofounder and CEO of Nightdive Studios, says the studio's most recent project was Blood: Refreshed Supply, a second overhaul of Monolith Productions' debut shooter that came bundled with two of its best mods. He called the collaboration extremely fun and said Nightdive wants to continue working with modders who pour heart into classic games.

Kick has logged 8,544 hours in Dota 2 and recently notched his 5,000th win. He first tried the game through a Polycount contest to design a 3D set, and although he didn't win, the experience hooked him. Playing has become a family activity: his wife, brother-in-law and others join, and Kick usually fills a support role, often directing teams on voice chat to smoke, gank, take Roshan and push objectives.

He also spends time in Witchfire, drawn to its roguelike loop borne of an interest sparked by Hades, and keeps Doom and Doom II on his drive as the oldest installed games.
