North West, 12, shops at Alexander Wang in Manhattan
North West, 12, spent Valentine’s Day in New York City on a girls-only shopping trip to the Alexander Wang flagship in SoHo, accompanied by several friends in bright wigs. Designer Alexander Wang joined the outing and presented West with a studded leather bag.
West wore a blue wig and an oversized black Balenciaga T‑shirt with the fashion house’s name in a death metal–style font. Her companions each wore different brightly colored wigs and the group favored an alternative look with fingerless gloves, spiked chains and skull motifs.
The girls were flanked by private security as they enjoyed the unseasonably warm weather and browsed the store. They sipped Starbucks while shopping, held hands as they moved through the shop, and West showed off new facial piercings during the outing.
After making purchases, the group left the store carrying shopping bags, still accompanied by security.
