Nothing Headphone (a): $199 over-ears with long battery and tactile controls
Nothing’s Headphone (a) arrive at $199 with a distinctive look, clear neutral sound and a set of features that undercut pricier rivals. The design is the initial draw, but the headphones also deliver dependable audio out of the box and optional EQ adjustments in the app, including community-made presets.
Active noise cancellation reduces ambient noise without isolating the listener, which helps avoid headphone fatigue during long sessions. Battery life is substantial: 75 hours with ANC on and up to 135 hours with ANC off, so you can go several days between charges.
Physical controls stand out: a mechanical button, a paddle for skipping tracks and a roller for volume let you operate the headphones without touching your phone. The button can be reassigned in the Nothing X app to perform actions such as capturing photos hands-free.
