Olight iUltra mini keychain light review: compact with magnetic USB‑C charging
ZDNET reviewed the Olight iUltra mini LED keychain light, describing a tiny, tough flashlight that uses a magnetic charging base to activate the beam and includes a built‑in USB‑C connector.
The iUltra measures 2.30 inches long, 0.65 inches in diameter and weighs 0.71 ounces. ZDNET says it can put out 80 lumens, reach a beam of about 90 feet and run at that level for roughly 50 minutes. It’s made from anodized aluminum called OAL, is rated IPX6 and is claimed to survive drops up to five feet; the reviewer tested the water resistance and drop performance and found it "as good as Olight says it is." The built‑in USB‑C connector folds away and is protected by the carry mechanism, and Olight engineers say the connector is good for at least 10,000 uses.
The review highlights the magnetic base as the on/off method—snapping the light free turns it on and attaching it to the charge base turns it off—avoiding buttons and extra modes. ZDNET said the iUltra "should offer years of service," and noted it is available for $29.99 at Amazon and is backed by a lifetime warranty.
