One Piece cast react to surprise Season 2 cameos
Season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece brought a string of early surprises that caught the cast off guard. Mackenyu said he literally screamed when he watched the first episode and Emily Rudd called seeing characters like Sabo appear in the background unexpectedly thrilling.
Jacob Romero and others praised Martial Batchamen’s warmth and called his turn as Brook a perfect choice. Chopper officially joins the Straw Hat crew this season, and the cast traded jokes about his shipboard initiation: cleaning toilets, mopping decks and taking on Usopp’s chores.
They also highlighted a quieter moment—Chopper crying beneath falling blossoms while Zoro comforts him—which Mackenyu called a personal dream come true when he got to put Chopper on his shoulder. Joe Manganiello’s Crocodile makes a strong impression, but Iñaki Godoy pointed to the Unluckies as a standout threat.
