One Piece Season 2 cast: New and returning characters

The second season of the live-action remake of the iconic anime series One Piece has arrived, and the reviews have been rapturous. The show captures the tone and scope of the original anime and manga, which spans more than a thousand episodes and hundreds of characters.

A large number of those characters turn up in season two, beginning with the Straw Hat Pirates and a broad returning cast. Iñaki Godoy returns as Monkey D. Luffy, the boundlessly optimistic seafaring adventurer who wants to become King of the Pirates. Mackenyu is back as Roronoa Zoro, the crew's taciturn swordsman, while Emily Rudd reprises Nami, the navigator who joined after a difficult past.

Jacob Romero Gibson brings comic relief as Usopp, and Taz Skylar returns as the flirtatious cook Sanji. Several supporting players from season one also return: Vincent Regan as Monkey D. Garp, Jeff Ward as Buggy, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino as Alvida, Morgan Davies as Koby, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo and Steven John Ward as Dracule Mihawk.
