One Piece Season 2 Debuts to Strong Reviews and Viewership
Netflix's live-action One Piece has returned with Season 2, earning a perfect critics' score and a 95% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. A day after its debut the season was dominating Netflix's Top 10 TV shows worldwide, sitting above The Dinosaurs, and it is on track to match the first season's strong performance.
The original live-action season premiered in 2023 at #1 on Netflix's Top 10 charts with 18.5 million views and stayed in the official charts for eight weeks. Season 2 picks up as the Straw Hat Pirates enter the Grand Line, encountering foes such as Baroque Works, battling new monsters and traveling to unfamiliar places.
The story continues beyond Season 2: Netflix greenlit Season 3 in 2025 and it is currently in production. Four cast members have been confirmed for the next installment, including Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace, Cole Escola as Bon Clay, Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1, and Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger.
