One Piece Season 2 Star Teases Fate of Karoo

Charithra Chandran, who plays Princess Vivi masquerading as Miss Wednesday, says Vivi’s extended undercover work inside Baroque Works has left her guarded and slow to trust the Straw Hats. The season follows her struggle to let the crew in and undo some of the damage caused by pretending to be someone else in a hostile environment.

Chandran also notes Vivi is deeply affected by Igaram’s death and, by the end of Season 2, views Miss All Sunday as an enemy she cannot yet understand. She adds that Season 3 will expand on both characters’ motivations and that Joe Manganiello’s Crocodile represents a major, scary threat to Alabasta.

Asked about Vivi’s loyal duck Karoo, Chandran joked that “Karoo is dead” before clarifying she actually doesn’t know the bird’s fate. She suggested viewers will have to tune into Season 3 to find out what happens to him.
