OnePlus Buds Pro 3 drop to $150 with NEWYEAR26 code on OnePlus site

OnePlus has discounted the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 to $150 on its website as part of a New Year sales event; customers must enter the code NEWYEAR26 at checkout to get the $30 reduction.

The promotion applies to all three color options—Midnight Opus, Lunar Radiance and Sapphire Blue—and the earbuds ship with a charging case, a USB-C cable, a user manual and four pairs of eartips (extra small to large).

The Buds Pro 3 keep flagship features such as active noise cancellation, spatial audio and a Transparency mode, and introduce internal upgrades including a 6mm tweeter and 11mm woofer custom-engineered with Dynaudio. Christian de Looper, a contributor to PCMag, said the earbuds produce deeper bass and clearer highs than the Pro 2. The model also uses a slimmer, egg-shaped charging case (64.70 x 52.45 x 25.75mm, just over 50g), supports Bluetooth 5.4, offers up to 43 hours of total battery life with the case (compared with 39 hours for the older model) and includes AI Translation when used with select OnePlus phones such as the OnePlus 13.

ZDNET notes the $30 discount is nearly 20% off the $180 price and gives the promotion a 2/5 deal rating; the outlet says the earbuds have previously dropped to $130 during Cyber Week 2025 and that it expects that price to return at an unknown time. As per OnePlus, the current offer ends on January 16, and ZDNET adds that deals may sell out or expire at any time.
