With the 98th Academy Awards just weeks away, Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another and Ryan Coogler's Sinners remain the frontrunners for Best Picture. Sinners leads the pack with a record-setting 16 nominations, while One Battle After Another has 13.

At the Guild of Music Supervisors Awards, Sinners won Best Music Supervision in Major Budget Films (Niki Sherrod) and Best Song Written and/or Recording for a Film for Raphael Saadiq's "I Lied To You," and Saadiq received an Icon Award. One Battle After Another took home Best Music Supervision in a Trailer (Film).

Last week's BAFTAs also split honors between the two films. One Battle After Another won Best Director for Anderson, Supporting Actor for Sean Penn, Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography, Editing and Best Film. Sinners earned Supporting Actress for Wunmi Wosaku, Original Score for Ludwig Göransson, and Original Screenplay.
