Ossie Ardiles has warned Tottenham are close to "big, big trouble" as the club sits just four points above the Premier League drop zone. The Argentine pointed to a 2-1 loss to Fulham and only two wins in 19 games as evidence of Spurs’ worst run in 30 years and urged total unity to halt the slide.

Ardiles, who won back-to-back FA Cups with the club and later managed Spurs, said every part of the organisation must back the players. "Our job, everybody at the club, my job and the job of everybody in Tottenham is to go behind the team. We are OK right now but we could be in big, big trouble.

So, everybody has to be together to achieve what we want to achieve. Survive this season and then we'll see what happens next," he said. The numbers are stark: Tottenham have gone 10 matches without a victory and remain the only Premier League side yet to win in 2026.
