Overwatch creeps past Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty on Steam

Feelings toward Overwatch have rarely been uncomplicated, especially during the years it carried a "2" at the end of its name. Now the 2 is out, five new heroes are inbound, and the game is drawing players back.

Windows Central spotted a recent upward trend on SteamDB: the game is sitting at around 68,000 concurrent players, close to its all-time peak of 75,608. It currently sits just above DayZ and Call of Duty, and on Feb. 8 it was briefly well above Battlefield 6.

Many players point to Stadium as a turning point, and people are flocking back to the game in droves.
