Few things meant more to me than owning a replica of the Master Sword. As a child I gathered sticks and tried to feel like Link, and then I finally got the Bandai Proplica Master Sword: the official $212 collectible was a birthday gift, and I paid half of its £200 cost in the UK so my partner could give it to me.

It isn’t metal but it surprised me by playing music and offering built-in rumble effects. Released in September 2024 as part of Bandai Tamashii Nations’ Proplica line, the replica measures around 41 inches and comes with a matching scabbard and black display stand.

The piece captures details such as the shimmering blue hilt, Triforce imagery and gold accents, and a switch at the bottom toggles between modes. In music mode, two buttons on the hilt cycle through eight tracks, from Link’s first NES outing up to Tears of the Kingdom.
