Collider has ranked all 13 feature films directed by South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook from worst to best, excluding short films and television work.

The piece traces Park’s evolution: his debut The Moon Is… the Sun’s Dream (1992) and Trio (1997) are described as obscure, lesser entries — and Park has spoken out about not liking the finished debut — while the writer says everything Park made from 2000 onwards is “at the very least, pretty good.” It notes Stoker (2013) is his only English-language film and criticises its screenplay while adding Park was not the credited writer. The Vengeance Trilogy is discussed (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, 2002; Lady Vengeance, 2005), alongside Three… Extremes (2004) — for which Park directed the ‘‘Cut’’ segment — I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK (2006), Thirst (2009), Decision to Leave (2022) and No Other Choice (2025).

In the ranking, The Moon Is… the Sun’s Dream is placed 13th and No Other Choice is listed at number four; the latter is described as Park’s funniest film to date and as “even better” than Decision to Leave, which the article calls a dizzying, genre-blending thriller with a 138-minute runtime. The list emphasises Park’s signature visual style, dark themes and provocative violence while noting his films may not be for everyone.
