Parma 0-2 Cremonese
Cremonese beat Parma 2–0 at the Tardini Stadium. Maleh scored in the 54th minute and Vandeputte added a second on 68 minutes. The match arrived amid a heated relegation battle. Marco Giampaolo had just taken over Cremonese for a second spell after Davide Nicola's dismissal.
Both teams came into the game off 4–1 defeats; Parma sit twelfth on 34 points, 10 clear of the drop, while Cremonese are third from bottom on 24, with a win effectively securing their place in Serie A. The opening goal came after Parma cleared a danger and the former Lecce man Maleh struck first time with a thunderbolt past Suzuki.
Later, a brilliant pass from Vardy set up Vandeputte for a first-time finish to make it 0–2, the midfielder’s first goal in Serie A. Earlier chances included a great save by Suzuki from Vandeputte in the seventh minute. Pellegrino went close for Parma in the 29th minute when his right-footed shot flew just wide.
