Patriots, Broncos, Rams and Seahawks set for Conference Championship games
Nbc reports the NFL Conference Championship matchups are set: the New England Patriots will face the Denver Broncos in Denver on Sunday, January 25 at 2 p.m., and the Los Angeles Rams will face the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle on Sunday, January 25 at 5:30 p.m. The winners will advance to Super Bowl LX, which the report says will air exclusively on Peacock and the broadcast network on Sunday, February 8 from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, with a halftime show led by Bad Bunny.
The four teams advanced after dramatic divisional-round games: the Broncos beat the Buffalo Bills 33-30 in overtime while Broncos quarterback Bo Nix went down for the season with an ankle injury; the Seahawks demolished the San Francisco 49ers 41-6; the Patriots beat the Houston Texans 28-16 in cold, rainy conditions; and the Rams eliminated the Chicago Bears 20-17 in overtime after a late interception thrown by Bears quarterback Caleb Williams. Remaining starters include Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, Broncos backup Jarrett Stidham, Rams veteran Matthew Stafford and Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold.
This season’s playoff race has produced surprises: the Kansas City Chiefs did not make the playoffs and the reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles were eliminated in the Wild Card round. Both conference-title games on January 25 will decide the participants in Super Bowl LX.
