Paul Bettany Teases VisionQuest as a Different Kind of MCU Series

Paul Bettany has offered a new tease for VisionQuest, the Marvel Cinematic Universe series set to be the third part of a trilogy that began with 2021's WandaVision and continued with 2024's Agatha All Along. Bettany returns as Vision, and the series will center on the lineage of Tony Stark's artificial intelligences, with James Spader returning as Ultron, Emily Hampishere playing E.D.I.T.H., and Orla Bradley playing F.R.I.D.A.Y.

On the Saturn Awards red carpet, Bettany suggested VisionQuest will take some "really big swings" and follow the lead of series like WandaVision and Wonder Man in exploring different formats for the MCU. He also said the show is about identity, with the restored White Vision seeking to discover who he is and the mysteries of his past.

Bettany said: "I think that Terry realized and agreed with me that I feel like Marvel gets rewarded when it takes really big swings.
