Paul Rudd joked when asked about his supposedly 'huge penis' on podcast
People reports that Paul Rudd, 56, offered a joking response when host Rick Glassman asked about the actor's supposedly "huge penis" on the Jan. 8 episode of the comedy podcast Take Your Shoes Off with Rick Glassman.
The exchange referenced Rudd's July 2025 appearance on the show, which featured an elaborate bit in which Michael Cera — posing as a production assistant — spilled "hot" coffee on Rudd. When Rudd "returned" to complete the interview the episode's video showed him changing his pants with his crotch and behind blurred, prompting Glassman to remark on Rudd's size. Rudd joked, "I didn't realize that you even saw my penis," and Glassman replied, "It was hard — it was soft to miss," later asking, "Do you feel like people don't know how big your penis is?"
Rudd said he has "never done [a movie nude]" and called himself "a fairly private person," adding, "I don't want to be just wagging my dick all over the place. I'm not Harvey Keitel in The Piano." The July episode circulated widely enough that fact-checking site Snopes published an article debunking the claim Rudd was seriously injured in the coffee-spilling incident, and Rudd's latest movie Anaconda is in theaters now.
