Paul Thomas Anderson's 'There Will Be Blood' Streams Free on Tubi
Paul Thomas Anderson's 2007 historical thriller There Will Be Blood has arrived on Tubi and is streaming for free.
Loosely inspired by Upton Sinclair's Oil!, the film follows ambitious prospector Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis) in late 1800s rural California. After a horrific accident he adopts the son of a co-worker and builds an oil empire, only to clash with preacher Eli Sunday (Paul Dano) as his hunger for power consumes him.
Released December 26, 2007, the film earned nominations including Best Picture and Best Director—Anderson's first—and took home awards for Best Cinematography and Best Actor. It lost several major categories that year to No Country for Old Men, yet has long been considered one of the absolute best films of the 21st century.
Runtime: 158 minutes.
