Peacock to stream full 24‑hour coverage of the 64th Rolex 24 at Daytona
Nbc reports coverage of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship begins January 24 with the 64th IMSA Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Live coverage of the race’s first hour starts Saturday, January 24, at 1:30 p.m. ET on the network, and the final two hours will air Sunday, January 25, at noon ET. For fans who want the full event, Peacock will begin live 24-hour, flag-to-flag coverage starting Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET, described as an immersive, in-stands viewing experience.
NBC Sports will deploy a dozen commentators, analysts and reporters on-site led by Leigh Diffey and Brian Till. The Rolex 24 field spans four classes — Grand Touring Prototype (11 cars), Le Mans Prototype 2 (14 cars), GT Daytona Pro (15 cars) and GT Daytona (21 cars) — and drivers scheduled to compete include Alex Palou, Scott Dixon, A.J. Allmendinger, Connor Zilisch, Felipe Nasr, Marcus Ericsson, Kyle Kirkwood and Tom Blomqvist.
At least 30 countries will be represented at the event, which celebrates its 64th year on January 24. Peacock offers the only way to watch the full 24-hour broadcast, while the network will handle the race start and the final two hours as scheduled.
