Collider reports Peacock added The Hunger Games franchise to its streaming library on January 14, 2026, and fans have been revisiting the films. The move came months after the first four movies were removed from HBO Max's lineup last November.

Only two installments are currently drawing significant attention in the U.S.: the original The Hunger Games, released March 23, 2012, and its 2013 sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Both titles are among Peacock's top 10, with the first film inside the top five, and they are also trending on Amazon Prime in several Asian territories and on PVOD charts worldwide, particularly the Apple TV store. Leading the two films is Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, alongside Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland.

Another installment, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, adapted from Suzanne Collins' 2025 novel, is scheduled to arrive November 20, 2026. The film, the sixth in the series, is described as a sequel to 2023's The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and a prequel to the first movies, focusing on Haymitch Abernathy; Ralph Fiennes will portray President Snow in the new entry, replacing the late Donald Sutherland in that role.
