Peacock’s All Her Fault Is a Must for Fans of Big Little Lies
Peacock's All Her Fault channels the intimate, tension-driven approach that made Big Little Lies notable. Based on Andrea Mara's novel, the first season runs eight episodes and tells a complete story while leaving a few lingering questions. Sarah Snook stars as Marissa Irvine, an affluent mother who goes to collect her son from a playdate only to find the woman at the door denying both the child and Marissa's identity.
The resulting investigation descends into darker, more twisted territory than it first appears, and the ensemble also features Dakota Fanning, Jake Lacy, Jay Ellis and Michael Peña. The series earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Limited Series, and Snook received a nomination as well.
With the season wrapping the novel's events, there is no established narrative to force a second season; as showrunner Megan Gallagher said, "Wouldn't that be nice? I would be up for that, so we'll see.
