Gamesradar reports Playground Games' reboot of Fable lets players buy every building in the open world of Albion, a feature the studio's general manager said was one of the "requirements" retained from the original trilogy.

Being able to purchase any property opens roleplaying possibilities, from a penny-pinching landlord to the game's labelled "Rich Tw*t," and it also means every building must be enterable rather than just decorative.

Playground Games' Ralph Fulton told a recent interview the team had "the requirement in our game that you can go into any building, any house that you encounter," which the studio framed as part of keeping the reboot faithful to Lionhead's classics.
