Podracing will be part of Star Wars: Galactic Racer, despite the game’s debut teaser not showing any podracers; the teaser did include Sebulba at the end.

Galactic Racer is being developed by Fuse Games, a studio formed in 2023 by former Burnout developers, and was announced at the Game Awards last year. Fuse Games CEO Matt Webster told GamesRadar that podracing is an essential part of a Star Wars racing experience and that the team wanted to include multiple vehicle types and expressions of speed across solo and multiplayer modes.

The game will offer a first-person driving option. The writer of the report said they hope the Boonta Eve Classic course will be included, and noted the game is due on consoles and PC later this year.
