Pokémon Go Pokémon 30th Anniversary event guide

Pokémon Go’s "Pokémon 30th Anniversary" event runs from March 3–9 and upgrades to an "All Out" version on March 7, which changes the weekend spawns and bonuses. During the event, all Pokémon from the Kanto region can appear in the wild, including the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, though Mewtwo and Mew will not appear.

A Go Pass is available that rewards encounters with various Kanto Pokémon and grants a free Mewtwo encounter if you reach rank 80. Hitting rank 25 grants doubled catch Candy and rank 50 grants doubled catch XP; if you upgrade to the premium pass those bonuses are tripled.

The pass also unlocks other milestone bonuses, and Ditto disguises have changed though the new disguises have not been confirmed.
