Pokémon Go Pokopia Celebration event guide

Pokémon Go is holding a Pokopia Celebration event from March 10–16. The event debuts two costumed Dittos: one wearing a white hat with yellow details and one in a white hat with blue details. Costumed Ditto can be shiny. During the event Ditto will disguise itself as specific Pokémon — seemingly only during the event — and can appear as many of the boosted spawns.

Spinning PokéStops grants double XP, and your first PokéStop spin of the day gives 10× XP. The Timed Research for the event includes a sequence of tasks: Catch 25 Pokémon (10 Ditto Candy); Explore 1 km (Pikachu encounter); Spin 10 PokéStops or gyms (5 Great Balls); Send 5 gifts to friends (3,000 Stardust); Catch 50 Pokémon (Snorlax encounter); Explore 2 km (10 Pinap Berries); Spin 30 PokéStops or gyms (10 Rare Candy); Complete 15 Field Research tasks (Tangrowth encounter); Catch 75 Pokémon (Ditto [cap] encounter); and Explore 3 km (Ditto [hat] encounter).

Complete it before the event ends to earn 10,000 XP and 10 Pokopia stickers.
