Pokemon Pokopia Limited Events - when they are and how to get involved

Game Freak and The Pokemon Company have confirmed that Pokemon Pokopia will include Limited Events to complement the game's main story. These events add extra requests and grant access to special guest Pokemon that are only available during the Pokopia Limited-Time Events.

The first Limited Event, 'More Spores for Hoppip', runs from Monday, March 9, 2026 at 1PM PDT / 4PM EDT / 8PM GMT until Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 12:59PM PDT / 3:59PM EDT / 7:59PM GMT. More Spores for Hoppip lets players befriend Hoppip and also lure Skiploom and Jumpluff.

Collect special cotton spores that appear only during the event, then exchange them for picnic-themed furniture; those items can be used to create bespoke habitats to befriend Skiploom and Jumpluff. These Pokemon can only be lured during the Limited Event. The event is available only if you have at least one Pokemon Center rebuilt and is not available on Cloud Islands.
