Poker Night at the Inventory remaster returns March 5 with TF2 unlocks
Pcgamer reports that Skunkape Games has announced a remastered Poker Night at the Inventory due to launch on March 5, promising updated graphics and lighting, fixes to the poker simulation, and new unlockables and quality-of-life features.
The original Poker Night at the Inventory was an early Telltale release starring Max, Strong Bad, Heavy, and Tycho, and it was praised more for its humour and character interactions than for its poker gameplay, which reviewers found flat and buggy. The original release also included four Team Fortress 2 unlockables, one tied to each character.
Skunkape, founded by former Telltale staff and known for updating Sam and Max adventures, said the remaster will be priced at $10 compared with the original’s $5. Players will be able to win the TF2 items at the table and have them unlocked in Team Fortress 2 as well.
