Pokopia's GameShare co-op 'awful', players say

Cozy Pokémon spin-off Pokopia blends Animal Crossing: New Horizons vibes with Minecraft-style mechanics, and trailers promised four-player multiplayer and GameShare between the Switch 2 and its predecessor. Many players bought it hoping for a better co-op experience.

Early players on Reddit say the reality falls short. "PSA: The GameShare is awful and might as well not exist," one post reads, adding that the Switch 1 player "is only able to wander around and do nothing." The same user wrote: "I'm so disgusted. I only got this game to play with my girlfriend, and you can't do anything.

0/10, stay far away if you want this game for co-op. There is nothing here." Others echoed the complaints: "GameShare is SOOOO BADDD," one thread says, listing limits such as being unable to play story mode together, interact with any Pokémon, craft items, open the Pokédex, or customize the character.
