Some fans who have long sexualized Pokémon like Gardevoir and Lopunny have turned the same attention to Machoke. The fighting-type is essentially a very muscly man who wears only black briefs and a championship wrestler’s belt, and in Pokopia players can invite him to live with them.

Machoke’s sleeping animation is drawing particular notice. Players report he lies in a very revealing pose—“posted up like one of your French girls,” letting it all hang out—and if he occupies the right side of a king-sized bed a player character can lie down next to him as if sharing post‑Day Care pillow talk.

Some encounters seem accidental, catching players off guard when they load the game and find him already in their bed; other players pursue the effect intentionally. The piece also jokes that, so far, there are no reports of Ditto laying any Machop eggs and that in a post‑apocalyptic world there are already too many mouths to feed.
