Post-Apocalyptic Thriller 'Paradise' Surges on Streaming Ahead of Finale

With three episodes left before its Season 2 finale, Paradise has climbed the streaming charts and earned strong reviews. The post-apocalyptic thriller stars Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson and James Marsden and follows survivors in the aftermath of a global disaster.

Premiering in 2025, Season 2 currently holds a 91% score on Rotten Tomatoes, up from Season 1's 86%. Critics and viewers have pointed to stronger writing, tighter pacing and expanded world-building as reasons many consider the sophomore outing an improvement. The story centers on United States Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Brown) as he investigates the killing of the president inside a bunker built to resemble the outside world after a supervolcano eruption beneath the Antarctic ice sheet.
