Power Protocol's POWER Token Drops 90% in 24 Hours
Power Protocol’s POWER token plunged more than 90% in 24 hours after hitting an all-time high of $2.46 on March 2, wiping out its February gains. BeInCrypto Markets data showed an intraday low of $0.15 and a trade price of $0.18 at press time. The move pushed POWER to the top of CoinGecko’s daily losers list and left community sentiment largely negative, with 64% bearish.
Power Protocol is a blockchain infrastructure platform for Web3 gaming and entertainment that launched on December 5, 2025. The token rallied over 900% in February and the project secured $3 million in funding from BITKRAFT Ventures, bringing total funding to $15.4 million.
CoinGecko attributed the collapse to two triggers: a temporary pause on the Ronin Bridge that created a price gap between on-chain markets and centralized exchanges, and an upcoming March 5 token unlock representing 1.2% of the total supply, which heightened fears of further selling pressure.
