Pragmata will now release on April 17, a week earlier than its initial April 24 release date. Capcom confirmed the bump at the end of a new trailer and offered no further explanation.

There are few major releases in April besides the next Diablo 4 expansion, along with some indie titles such as Replaced. With limited blockbuster competition, the shift leaves Pragmata largely to itself in the month.

The change may be welcomed by fans who remember the game was originally meant to release in 2022. For a while it looked likely the project would follow the fate of Deep Down, but a re-reveal last year allayed those concerns.

Ultimately, the earlier date is a small surprise, even if Capcom has not said why it moved the launch.
