Pre-licensed New Hampshire therapist charged in alleged mid-session assault
According to People, Daniel Thibeault, 51, a pre-licensed therapist in Bow, New Hampshire, has been charged with two counts of felonious sexual assault and one count of aggravated felonious sexual assault after a woman alleged he sexually assaulted her during an in‑office therapy visit; he was arrested on Monday, Jan.
5. Bow police said officers first received a report in August 2025. Court documents obtained by the Concord Monitor and WMUR say the woman connected with Thibeault in July while seeking marriage counseling; the couple attended a few sessions together before she moved out and continued sessions alone.
Police learned what happened on Aug. 20 when the woman’s father called to report the alleged assault. The documents state Thibeault allegedly rubbed the woman’s body, later picked her up and kissed her while telling her, "I'm so attracted to you," and that she told him to stop several times.
