Preview: What to expect at CES 2026 and how to watch
CES 2026 returns to Las Vegas with media days on Jan. 4–5 and the main show running Tuesday, Jan. 6 through Friday, Jan. 9. ZDNET will have reporters on the ground and online to cover the biggest announcements. The Consumer Electronics Show is a trade-only industry event that has taken place in Las Vegas since 1978.
The main show floor sits at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the event expands into nearby hotels across two campuses: the Venetian campus (Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn) and the C Space campus (Aria, Vdara, Cosmopolitan, Park MGM). There are 12 official venues spanning more than 2.5 million net square feet, according to the CES website.
CES is restricted to industry attendees, media, and exhibitor personnel who are 18 or older and meet registration requirements. Ticket tiers include an Exhibits Plus Pass at $350 and a Deluxe Conference Pass at $1,700. According to CTA data, CES drew 142,465 attendees in 2025. Thousands of companies exhibit at CES — more than 4,500 in 2025 — including major names such as Nvidia, Qualcomm, Intel, Samsung, and Hisense.
The full exhibitor list is published by CES. Expect a steady stream of hardware launches, with new TVs and PCs prominent on the show floor. Important processor announcements from companies like Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm are likely, and AI will be a major theme across smart home devices, fitness trackers, assistants, robotics, device features, and enterprise systems.
