Prime Video drops first trailer for Jack Ryan movie starring John Krasinski

Prime Video has released the first trailer for Ghost War, a feature-length Jack Ryan movie intended as a proper send-off to the series in lieu of a fourth season. In the brief clip, Jack (John Krasinski) returns with stakes higher than ever, reuniting with now-retired Mike November (Michael Kelly) and former CIA boss James Greer (Wendell Pierce).

The three are described as the only ones who possess enough knowledge to take down an unseen enemy. Per the official synopsis, the trio teams up with "an unlikely new partner – razor-sharp MI6 officer Emma Marlowe (Sienna Miller) in order to navigate a treacherous web of betrayal, facing a past they thought was long put to rest." Ghost War is the sixth film in the Jack Ryan franchise; the previous entry was 2014's Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit starring Chris Pine.

The Prime Video series began in 2018 and ran for four seasons, officially ending in 2023. Ghost War arrives on Prime Video on May 20.
