Prime Video’s Reacher Returns to Global Top 10
Reacher has charged back into Prime Video's global top 10 in more than 20 countries. The series has aired three seasons, with a fourth on the way this year, and Alan Ritchson, who leads the show, is quietly becoming one of the biggest action stars in the world thanks to his role in Reacher.
Ritchson wasn’t the first actor to play Jack Reacher on screen; Tom Cruise portrayed the character in a pair of controversial action movies in the 2010s, a casting choice criticized because his stature didn’t match the character in Lee Child’s novels. Prime Video’s adaptation draws from Child’s books—the first season adapts The Killing Floor—and follows retired Military Police Officer Jack Reacher as he is arrested for a murder he did not commit and uncovers a conspiracy involving dirty cops, shady businessmen and scheming politicians in Margrave, Georgia.
