Prime Video's Mad Dogs Stands Out Among 2010s TV Remakes

Mad Dogs is a twisty miniseries that premiered on Prime Video in 2015, adapted from the 2011–2013 series of the same name. It earned mixed reviews—68% on Rotten Tomatoes' critics score, an 82% audience score, and a 7.5/10 on IMDb—but Prime Video canceled the show after one season.

The plot opens as a comedy about a Belize vacation that goes horribly wrong: Cobi (Steve Zahn), Lex (Michael Imperioli), Gus (Romani Malco) and Joel (Ben Chaplin) join Milo (Zane) for a few days, then a masked killer murders one of them and the surviving friends quickly become suspects.
