Sony adds Need for Speed Unbound, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and Core Keeper to PS Plus in January
Sony has revealed the first batch of PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for 2026: three titles that will be available starting January 6. Subscribers retain access to these games as long as their subscription remains active.
Need for Speed Unbound, a late-2022 racing entry with cel-shaded visuals, joins the lineup on PS5 only. The game features a wide selection of vehicles, street racing challenges, weekly qualifiers, a cops-and-robbers minigame, and a prominent role for rapper A$AP Rocky in the narrative.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a recent remake of the 2010 Wii platformer and arrives on both PS4 and PS5. The title drops the Wiimote mechanics while keeping platforming gameplay and fan service for long-time Disney players. Warren Spector, the lead designer of Deus Ex, was heavily involved in its development.
Core Keeper, an indie mining and crafting sim that spent years in early access, is now finished and included in the lineup. The game emphasizes crafting, base-building and exploration, and while playable solo it is primarily intended as a multiplayer experience for up to eight players.
Access to December's PS Plus Monthly Games ends as the year closes. Subscribers have until January 5 to download Lego Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality Echo of Ada and Neon White.
