PSG's request to postpone Nantes match before Chelsea tie approved
The LFP approved Paris Saint-Germain's request to postpone their Ligue 1 fixture against Nantes to give the club more time to prepare for the Champions League last-16 tie with Chelsea. PSG will host Chelsea at the Parc des Princes in a little over a week, with the return leg at Stamford Bridge the following week.
PSG made the request on Friday and Nantes agreed; the league announced the match will now be played the week of April 20, with the exact date and time to be decided later. The decision has not gone down well with other French clubs: Lyon, Strasbourg and Lille did not seek similar changes despite their Europa League and Conference League commitments.
Chelsea will still have a Premier League game that same weekend, at home to Newcastle.
