Rachel Weisz Thriller Vladimir Climbs Netflix Charts Behind Bridgerton
Bridgerton has dominated Netflix since the release of its fourth season, but a new contender has arrived. Vladimir, which premiered March 5, 2026, is now available in full on the streamer and is already climbing the charts. The miniseries stars Rachel Weisz as a middle-aged English professor whose life unravels amid a college scandal.
She becomes obsessed with a younger colleague, the dashing Vladimir (Leo Woodall), and pursues her fantasies despite both being married, pushing boundaries and exposing secrets. Author Julia May Jonas said the story "explores what women feel like they’re allowed to desire, and how they’re allowed to desire." Streaming numbers place Vladimir second on the platform, just behind Bridgerton and narrowly ahead of The Night Agent.
Critical response is mixed, with a 66% score on Rotten Tomatoes, while viewers have responded well to the darkly comedic and seductive tone.
