Ranger's Path lets you kick out park visitors for tiny infractions
Ranger's Path: National Park Simulator is an early access, open-world game about being a park ranger. Even on a first day the player is given a mystical "Ranger Sense"—hold the right mouse button to scan the wilderness for problems like poacher tracks or nearby wildlife and flora.
Most of the job involves mundane maintenance: repairing benches, clearing fallen trees and collecting discarded bottles. A remote supervisor radios in with assignments that stretch across a surprisingly large map, so players spend a lot of time sprinting between objectives and driving a ranger truck.
The game lets you decline those calls without apparent consequence. The part that stands out is enforcing park rules. You can approach visitors at any time and demand to see passes; expired or inappropriate permits can earn a warning, a fine, or expulsion from the park.
