The Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro still sits at the top of Razer's lineup, but the Cobra HyperSpeed makes a persuasive case at a much lower price. For $99/£99 it pairs a 26,000 DPI Focus X sensor with a 1,000 Hz polling rate as standard, boostable to 8,000 Hz with Razer's HyperPolling dongle sold separately.

Razer has trimmed the design to neat, fingertip-friendly proportions. The chassis uses a premium matte coating where fingers contact it, with limited Chroma lighting on the badge and a subtle underglow. At 62 g the mouse feels light enough for twitchy movement yet solid under sustained use, and it suits fingertip grips better than full palm grips.

The Cobra inherits Razer's Gen4 switches and the same optical scrollwheel found in the V4 Pro. The switches deliver a very tactile, positive click but are unusually loud, while the damped, precise scrollwheel and large skates help the mouse glide smoothly and feel accurate in practice, even if its specs don’t match boutique esports models.
