Prime Video's Reacher franchise is returning for a fourth season while its first spin-off, Neagley, is in production with Maria Sten in the title role. Season 4 is billed as an adaptation of Lee Child's Gone Tomorrow, the thirteenth Reacher novel. Star Alan Ritchson has revealed the production filmed roughly 30 fight sequences, saying, "We've never shot this many fights.

There's so many." He added, "We've set a record for the amount of fights that we've done this season, but all for good reason," and warned he doesn't "ever want somebody to disengage because they're just seeing all the fights in the world thrown on screen." Gone Tomorrow is a more cerebral, slow-burn mystery that emphasizes Reacher's investigative skills over nonstop action.

The sheer number of new fight scenes suggests the show will take major liberties with the novel’s tone, a course that raises questions about balancing earned action with the book’s quieter detective focus.
